Songbook: Pervert's Trousers

Origin: Oxford Arthurian Society / Traditional
No reference is intended to any individual - "Liam Nokes" is not the correct name. However, anybody who was a member of the Arthurian society in the late 1980s will be able to tell you about the legendary pervert's trousers.

King Arthur, who definitely existed, definitely came from the North. Except when he came from Cornwall. Or Brittany. Etc.

We are from the North and so was Arthur too,
And what's it worth to keep away from you?
Or else we'll shout our theories 'til we're blue
And we all wear pervert's trousers.

Chorus:
Come and join us
Come and join us
'Cause we all wear pervert's trousers

We love 'Liam Nokes', he gives us such a thrill,
We love his jokes and his theories are so brill,
We'll tell you all about them 'til you're ill,
And we all wear pervert's trousers.

Chorus

Richard of York he was a Northern lad,
Laik King Arthur, and laik 'Liam's' dad,
They all wore flat caps and they drove you mad,
And they all wore pervert's trousers.

Chorus

Michael Foot, he was a Balliol man,
Like King Arthur, and like Genghis Khan,
They all had fat lips and reduced your 'san',
And they all wore pervert's trousers.

Chorus
