Wondered if anyone might be interested in submitting any work to this?
Dear All,
The deadline for submitting articles for the next issue of the Journal of
the Oxford University History Society (JOUHS – issue 6, Michaelmas 2008) has
been extended to 17th November.
As usual, the editors are happy to consider research articles, essays, book
reviews, conference papers as well as reviews of exhibitions and conferences.
We also consider reports on ongoing research, in the form of snapshots of
research, and bibliographical checklists.
As we have decided to increasingly reflect the activities of the OUHS, we
are particularly interested in this occasion to receive proposals for
interviews or reports of the lectures scheduled by the society for this term,
including DAVID STARKEY (week 2), CHRISTOPHER BROWN (week 3), CLAIRE TOMALIN
(week 5), PHILIPPA GREGORY (week 6).
If you have not visited our journal before, do it now!

The Journal of the Oxford University History Society was established by the
postgraduate community at Oxford as a medium for the publication and
dissemination of original and inter-disciplinary historical research. It is an
on-line peer-reviewed scholarly journal run by postgraduate students under the
aegis of the Oxford University History Society (OUHS). It aims to: reflect the
activities and interests of OUHS; establish scholarly links in the varied
community of historians at the University of Oxford; to serve as a discussion
forum for the international community of undergraduates, postgraduate students
and established academics. We welcome submissions from undergraduates,
graduates and scholars from both within and outside Oxford.
Best wishes,
Heather Ellis and Graciela Iglesias Rogers
Co-editors JOUHS
