Heid needs to know definite numbers attending and what we could do, for Green College's "Midsummer Knights Dream" balll on the 14th July.
Here are some rough ideas, just as they occur to me:
What to do depends on numbers of us and the space they can give us. Crucially, if we can have a safe fight space with double ropes and so on.
If they could give us a safe fight-space then some sort of basic tourney could be done? That could work with 4 people (2 fight, 2 fight, the 2 winners fight), or be adapted to the number of folks.
Or, probably best with a fight-space, we could do a story-with-actions. Like we did for Beowulf at Great Milton, but with something from Malory's Death of Arthur? Have a narrator reading some story with lots of fighting (possibly the Discovery of Lancelot & G scene, that's got a bunch of deaths) and everyone else act out what they're saying.
Alternatively, if we don't have a safe arena, have a lady and her knight. A bunch of other knights arrive, grab the lady and do a pre-scripted brief wrestle with her protector.
