This was the original email:
I have recently taken on the job of Live Action Coordinator for the above.
Event, taking place on 28th-31st August at Reading University. I know this
is very short notice but I am looking into booking a re enactment
installation and wondered if you are available and what your terms are. I would
be most interested in something small scale and interactive, a demonstration
of skills such as cooking and weaving, perhaps weapons training. Can you
please let me know as soon as possible. GenCon is a games convention
covering every type of game from boardgames to computer games. Many of the
delegates are Role Players and History is a burnng interest with a large
percentage so I know you would generate a lot of interest. yours faithfuly

So are there enough of us around during that time?
Do people want to go? I'd imagine such a games convention to be quite fun, although to my knowledge these things are usually mostly fantasy-based. But from the email, it sounds as if they do, in fact, want proper history.
So what do people think?
Personally, I'd quite like to go, although I'm not sure whether I'll be around. I might well be, but it depends on until when I'll be working during the summer.
