I'd say do pub lunch on an impromptu basis. Send an email round a day or two in advance (NOT half an hour in advance, please, like it happened a lot last year), and go.

UPDATE! yet to sort out:

- Where to have kit making - suggestions MORE THAN WELCOME (I'm a bit stuck). I've just emailed Keble, though I don't exactly have high hopes. Thanks Dave for the offer of the Green Dragon - this will be good later in the year when people are used to coming(WOOF!), but we need a central venue for the beginning of Michaelmas at least.

- Are Dom and Jack still willing for the extra kit remain at theirs (feasting kit and combat stuff used not every week)? If not, where can it go? I only (probably) have space for the normal every-week fighting stuff.

- Pub lunch will have to wait for now, the termcard is busy enough. Let's see what happens. Maybe Gloc lunches will continue…

Sorted (ish)

- Rough termcard

- Website contacts soon to be updated I think

"I suppose that has caused more scare" doesn't make much sense, Phillipppp.

I guess "worry" or "fear" or "panic" could be used. Still, "scaredyness" is good.

P.S. I have not been entirely idle and I have been bugging committee excessively. Unfortunately in holidays it takes a long while for people to reply, or people who have things to do to reply.

Have been trying not to bug ww more generally about this but I suppose that has caused more scaredyness than not (why do I make up these words?)

I've put a skeleton table up for the termcard, Dom.

Who are the new committee again?

I'll change the website as soon as OUCS send a new password to replace the most recent one, which I forgot. I wish they didn't make you change the damn thing so often (and then impose a million bloody restrictions on what you can have).

The Gloc will reopen??? Yay!

LHF - yes. TORM -yes. We'll (hopefully) have freshers. They'll need kit. (And I need … ahm … something. Lots. Don't know what, but I want it.)

Should we have a fire again following a market trip like last year that time. I mean, LHF seems to coincide with Samhain, so that seems like an obvious choice.

Gloc will reopen? Cool! I thought John's were knocking it down or something. Or is it being rebuilt as a new and crappy thing? What's the story?

Er, back to the topic…termcard…market trips? Living History Fairie is 31 Oct - 2 Nov, and TORM is 14-16 Nov (I think - somebody else checking the websites wouldn't be a bad idea).

The Gloc will re-open. Fuck knows when, but I'm angling for a job there and they're hoping to be open early October.

I can volunteer the Green Dragon for kitmaking, but it's probably too far out for most people.

- we need a termcard up on the wiki before the freshers' fair, so that eager freshers can come home from the fair, go to their computer and look us up straight away. This is what they do because we're clearly the best society out there.

- we need to figure out things like: Where will we have km? What about weapon storage (or do we know that already? Maybe I'm a bit behind, don't know).

- where are we going to have regular pub lunch given that the gloc is no more?

- the contact details of the committee on the main website need updating

Pppppppp

PS: I've been to Valhalla.
